From Words to Pictures
Join to learn about visual storytelling and cover design with children’s book illustrator, Anita Bagdi.
In this group session for children*, Anita guides young artists in a fun way to unlock their imagination by illustrating a whole story in one image, a whole story held behind one chosen word!
Children will learn how illustrators work with words and pictures, and will have a go at illustrating their very own book cover. All materials provided.
*please note this session is for 5 - 7 yr olds

Tutor: Anita Bagdi - Children’s Book Illustrator
Anita is a self-taught freelance children’s book illustrator, living in Bournemouth with her neurodiverse family. She is passionate about nature, climate, human stories and imagination. Anita is determined to add her art and creativity to bring stories to life that help children become more confident in finding their own voices.
