Join us for a great evening out with award winning author, wine writer and presenter Helen McGinn at New Milton Rugby Club. Enjoy an engaging talk about Helen’s fiction and other writing, accompanied with a chance to sample excellent wines and a sharing board of high quality local charcuterie (with vegetarian and vegan options) from the Super Brothers Arms.

After spending a decade as a supermarket wine buyer for Tesco, Helen founded wine blog The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club, now a best-selling wine book. She’s an international wine judge, writes about drinks for the Daily Mail’s Femail Magazine and Waitrose Food Magazine among others and regularly appears on television as a wine expert on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and ITV’s This Morning. Helen is also a best-selling fiction author. Her latest novel, The Island of Dreams, was published in February this year and she's currently working on her fifth, due out next year.

This event takes place at the New Milton Rugby Club and is part of the Play on Words Festival. Play on Words is a New Forest community led literature festival for writers, readers and everyone who loves words. Check out the Play on Words website, www.playonwords.co.uk, for the latest updates and what’s on.
