Merry Hell

Founded in North West England, Merry Hell is an eight-piece folk-rock band with a history, a pedigree and a bright future.

Formed from the smouldering embers of the 90s folk/punk band The Tansads - a reunion in 2010 led to the formation of Merry Hell, who, in just five short years they have risen to become festival favourites, playing at Towersey and Wickham.

They have supported Bellowhead, Richard Thompson and the Oysterband and taken part in 'The Armistice Pals' which involved over forty folk artists, coming together to commemorate the outbreak of World War One.
