Meditation as part of our Wellness Day - June 11 2022. 

Join us on June 11 for our Wellness Day. We are hosting a mixture of free and paid for classes and workshops aimed to help you connect, take notice, learn, be active and give time to yourself.

Meditation is a simple and effective way to enhance your mental well being as it focuses on quietening the mind and therefore bringing about an inner peace. It does this by altering your state of consciousness to bring about a relaxed mind and body, it can be used to increase or decrease your awareness of the world around you. It has been practised for thousands of years and is rapidly becoming an effective way to release mental and physical stress in the modern world as we continue to explore ways to relax.

Tutor: Alison Metcalfe

Alison is qualified in DRU, YIN, RESTORATIVE AND YOGA NIDRA. Also a member of the DPN and insured through Balens. Alison's classes are user friendly and inclusive. Alison does not label her classes as beginners etc as she offers modifications so everyone can experience the joy of yoga and meditation . More information via Alison's website.
