Introduction to Fused Glass Workshop

Immerse yourself in an afternoon of creating Fused Glass Designs. You will learn tips and techniques of the fusing process. Design & cut your own pieces or use Linda’s pre cut shapes. You will make 2  pieces during your session. We will look at the process of kiln-formed glass and some simple cutting techniques to enable you to make your own unique fused glass pieces. You can use Linda’s examples and templates or soar with your own designs. 

There is also an option that you can you can create a curved seascape.

Each session is suitable for beginners and those who have some experience with glass. Beginning your workshop by creating your own striped sun catcher, your next piece will be a coaster/picture sized design. 

Linda has been working with glass for 24 years and loves teaching and sharing her passion.
All materials and firing your project included. Collection 7 days after the session once your pieces have been fired, (postage extra)

Linda has been a glass artist for over 16 years, based at her workshop near Cranborne Dorset.

Linda explores the traditional techniques of Stained Glass, Copper foil ‘Tiffany’, Mosaics and Glass Fusing. Captivated by the light, texture and colour combinations of glass, she has developed a range of vibrant contemporary designs.

These include, framed tiffany pictures and sun catchers, vibrant fused glass jewellery, and fused glass hangings, coasters and bowls.

Her work is inspired by the natural forms and colours.

Linda is keen to share her enthusiasm for glass and runs taster sessions, full and half day workshops
