This is a day for learning about 3D seamless felting and the shaping and fulling of hats.
You will learn how to design, measure and size your template. The incorporation of fabrics and fibres gives interesting surface textures. There will be opportunity to choose the style of your hat. This workshop is suitable for those with some basic felt making knowledge and also for the more advanced felter.
Please also note that this is a fast-paced day and there is a large amount of physical work involved with rubbing and rolling.
When: Saturday 8 November 2025 10am -4pm
What to bring: Please bring a notepad and pen (a camera is also useful, but not necessary, for visual reference) and a plastic bag to take your work home in. Although we will be using soapy water you should not get ‘wet’ or need to wear old clothes.
