EXPLORE LYMINGTON PHOTOGRAPHY WALKSHOP.
This is an all skill levels photography workshop mixing the town streets and the shoreline of the sailing town of Lymington, on The Solent.
We’ll be starting off outside the Kings Head Inn at the top of Quay Hill. We will be looking at street photography around this historic area of the town and exploring the different cobble streets and alleyways as we make our way down to the water. At the shore we’ll look for interesting perspectives around the quayside including the slipway, shore and over the marina area. This area is packed with photography inspiration, with leading lines, natural frames, nautical details and so much more. If time allows we will continue the shore path following the channel as it leads to the sea.
This workshop involves a leisurely 2 hour walk with fun & creative photo activities allowing you to find out much more about your camera and how to get the best out from it in the future. We’ll be looking at composition, perspectives, textures, leading lines, creating narrative and also how to take control of aperture and shutter speed.
Expect to see some historic cobbled streets and all things sailing & life on the water plus nature on the shore and so much more..
Meeting point: Kings Head Inn 1 Quay Hill, Lymington SO41 3AR
What to bring: All you have to do is bring along your camera to take part. It can be anything from a digital compact through to a DSLR and if you want to shoot 35mm film, cool!
