Decorate your own fabulous postcards using a range of materials to learn and experiment with different printing methods! Create patterns, try out different tools and textures and find the fun in playing with new techniques. Suitable for all skill levels as your postcard design can be as simple or detailed as you like.
All materials will be provided, please wear clothing that you don't mind getting messy in! For ages 5-10. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult whilst using the centre.

Sarah Appleton graduated in 2016 from the Textiles course at the Arts University Bournemouth with a specialism in hand stitch. Since graduating, she has exhibited her work in London, North Wales, Birmingham and across Dorset and also takes on bursaries and private commissions.
Sarah has over 6 years experience of running craft workshops for adults and children in arts centres, libraries and schools across Hampshire and Dorset. Sarah has a passion for all things eco-friendly and thinking up creative ways of reusing materials. Along with sewing and embroidery, Sarah's interests include printing, crochet and photography. Sarah lives in Dorset with her cat, James.
