Join The Touring Potter to Hand build with clay! Spend an hour sculpting, moulding and modelling a clay Fish or Rock pool. At the end of the workshop the clay masterpieces will be taken away to be fired in the kiln. The work can take 4-6 weeks to be finished. You will be notified when the pieces have been delivered to Forest Arts for collection. This workshop is advices for children age 6 plus children must be accompanied by an adult.

Maisie Jones "The Touring Potter" Is a Dorset based cermicist. Who has been working with clay for 12 years. She trained in ceramics at The University of Brighton gaining a Ba Hons degree in 3D Design and Craft. Since completing her studies she has worked as a teacher, artisan maker and commercial manufacturer of ceramics. She has been running The Touring Potter a mobile pottery business for just over a year sharing her love for pottery with clients across the UK. This has included working with ceramic studios, schools, care homes, local businesses in hospitality and with groups and individuals in her home studio in Christchurch. She is highly creative and enthusiastic about her craft and will accommodate all levels of experience in her classes. She aims to make pottery something all can experience and enjoy.
