Forest Arts have teamed up with ArtfulScribe to bring a Young Writers and Junior Writers Club to Forest Arts Centre, New Milton.
As a Forest Arts Junior or Young Writer, you will get the chance to attend workshops led by professional writers, attend Forest Arts performances, see your work published online, in print, and performed on a stage before a live audience.
Workshops are run on Saturday mornings on a weekly basis during term times and offer a safe, supportive environment, encouraging young writers to share work and to give and receive feedback in a respectful way that empowers voices in the workshop community.
There are two workshops:
- 7-10-year-olds – Junior Writers
- 11-14-year-olds – Young Writers
These sessions are free but Forest Arts and ArtfulScribe are looking for a commitment on attendance. All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.
