Young Artists is ideal for GCSE or A-Level students. Bring in your own projects and ideas and discuss them in a group environment, whilst building your portfolio and learning about artists and art movements. For ages 13 - 18. Ideal for an evening away from studying to work on projects or just to relax.
What you need: Wear clothes you don't mind making a mess in and a bottle of water. Please bring your own materials and portfolio.
Tutor: Emily Glen
Emily is an experienced sculptor and craft maker and has been working in the New Milton area creating and delivering work for several years. Emily has experience working in a local care home programming and delivering art activities and specialises in model making. Emily brings a lot of creativity to her work and allows participants to 'make their mark' and express themselves in a fun and safe way. Emily is an integral part of the Forest Arts Centre programming as she delivers the majority of our holiday clubs, creative camps and summer schools as well as teaching weekly for our Crafty Kids Club! Emily also works for Arnewood School in the Art Department making her a vital connection between Forest Arts Centre and the local school.
