This course is intended to give an introduction to a range of printmaking techniques. We will cover the basics of: Linocut, a relief printing technique where the raised parts of the plate are inked, Drypoint, an intaglio technique where the ink is held by burrs raised on the plate by scratching, and Collagraph where the plate is built up from layers of material adhered to the base.
