OTIS JAY BLUES BAND
Bournemouth's kings of rhythm and roots, the Otis Jay Blues Band, celebrate a third annual headlining appearance at Forest Arts. It's their first with Cecilia (vocals, keyboards) adding her unique talents to founder members Mick St Michael (bass, vocals) and Brian P (guitar). Dave Herrington (harmonica) and Dave Galley (drums) bring experience a-plenty, and the result, we're told, is like the Rolling Stones jamming with Janis Joplin sometime in the 60s! Expect crowd-pleasers, unexpected gems and the occasional feisty original as New Milton is, once again, painted blue...
STATE OF UNDRESS TRIO
Husband and wife team Alan and Charlie Rose are founder members and main songwriters of State of Undress, Glastonbury festival veterans whose original and traditional folk-rock songs move from poignant and powerful to joyously foot-tapping! Charlie and Alan are joined by Catie Lake, the Bodhraness, one of the leading Bodhran players in the Wessex region.
