Celebrate the return of the swinging 20's with our Lindy Hop Short Course!
Lindy Hop is a fun partner dance which originated in America in the 1920’s & 30’s. It evolved in Harlem, New York in places such as the famous Savoy Ballroom and was based on other dances of the day such as charleston, jazz, tap and break-away. This session will be the perfect introduction to Lindy Hop.
The teachers Martin and Tash will take you through the basics, step by step, without overloading you with too much to remember. You’ll learn how to bring energy and natural rhythm into your dancing and how to create that all-important connection with your dance partner. We will have regular breaks too!
What you need: Comfy clothes and shoes to dance in and plenty of water.
