A new walk by local historian Nick Saunders which will tell the history of some of the people buried in St Mary Magdalene Churchyard. The stories will include a much loved local vicar, a soldier awarded the Victoria Cross, the secretary of the New Forest Suffrage movement, a Titanic survivor and a Russian countess. Many other Miltonians will also be mentioned.

This walk will start and end at Forest Arts Centre, where there will be opportunities for questions, refreshments, and conversation. 

This event is part of Play on Words, a New Forest community led literature festival for writers, readers and lovers of words. Check out the Play on Words website, www.playonwords.org.uk, for the latest updates and what’s on.
