This gentle chair-based session will introduce you to breath awareness and the benefits of breath-led movement. The sessions are gentle and restorative, using flowing movements to help melt away tension in the body and mind. They aim to create space for the breath and prana to flow, bringing you a sense of holistic movement, conscious breathing, plus body and energy awareness. Supported standing and mat options. Suitable for all.
What you need: Wear comfy clothes and bring plenty of water. Chairs will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own mats.
Tutor: Alison Metcalfe
Alison is qualified in DRU, YIN, RESTORATIVE AND YOGA NIDRA. Also a member of the DPN and insured through Balens. Alison's classes are user friendly and inclusive. Alison does not label her classes as beginners etc as she offers modifications so everyone can experience the joy of yoga and meditation.
