With only 13.7% of authors earning a living solely from writing, it helps to access other funding streams to support a creative practice or to get paid for developing creative projects that help local writers and writing communities to flourish.
Featuring presentations from the ArtfulScribe team, this roadshow will help writers understand processes behind successful funding applications, by providing an overview of successful grants for developing a creative practice, curating literature events and festivals, and designing and delivering creative writing projects in the community.
There will be opportunities for Q&A’s and networking as part of this event. Any specific questions can be emailed in advance to antosh@artfulscribe.co.uk and, if possible, these will be addressed as part of the main presentations.
