What will the session involve?
We will be teaching a straightforward morris dance that will make you want to learn more! Recent workshops range from Cub Scouts to the Women's Institute.
No previous experience necessary. Musicians also very welcome to join in with our band.
Who is it for?
Suitable for all abilities from age 7 upwards.
What should I bring?
Yourself, please wear comfortable clothing & trainers/flat shoes
Tutors: New Forest Meddlars Morris Dancers
The New Forest Meddlars are a mixed morris side dancing mainly in the Border and Cotswold traditions. We also have a few dances that we have choreographed in these styles.

What is Fun Palaces?
Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for cultural democracy, with an annual weekend of action every October.
The campaign promotes culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of culture.
The weekend of action uses the combination of arts, craft, science, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities, led by local people for local people, sharing their own passions and skills, as a catalyst for community-led transformation, with active participation for all ages.
