What will the workshop involve?
Learn to make basic Christmas cards using simple techniques or for the more advances these can be modified. A really relaxing workshop ideal for families and children.
Who is it for?
Easy level/ Age 5-10 but can be flexible
Tutor: Rachel Sykes
Rachel has been making cards as a hobby to raise money for charity for over two years now and wanted to share her ideas. Rachel's workshop is aimed at 5-10 year olds but she can accommodate from 3+ and older siblings too. The difficulty level will range from very easy to more creatively challenging - it is completely up to each individual. No previous experience is necessary. So come and make a special Christmas card for a special person.

What is "Fun Palaces"?
Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for cultural democracy, with an annual weekend of action every October.
The campaign promotes culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of culture. The weekend of action uses the combination of arts, craft, science, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities, led by local people for local people, sharing their own passions and skills, as a catalyst for community-led transformation, with active participation for all ages.
