Forest Youth Choir (Spring 2020)

An inclusive youth choir open to anyone aged 16-24 with or without a disability, who has a passion for singing, creativity and fun. Learn a variety of music, improve your vocal technique and harmony singing and write your own songs. Work together as a group to increase confidence. This is about challenging yourself in a safe, supportive and fun environment to do things you never thought you could. No singing experience is needed, if you can hold a tune and are willing to throw yourself into it, then come along!

What to wear and what to bring?

Wear comfy clothing and bring plenty of water.

Tutor: Kate Mellors

You will be led by Kate Mellors, a vocal coach, facilitator and performer who has been writing songs since she was 12 years old. Admittedly, at 12 they weren’t the best songs. However, after studying at music college in Leeds, she has gone on to work extensively with DJs and bands, as well as creating soundscapes for theatre and film.

Book your slot for Forest Youth Choir at Hampshire Cultural Trust's Forest Arts Centre, New Milton now!

Term: Monday 6 January – 30 March (no class w/c 17 February).
