Folk, Rattle & Roll: Easter Weekender - Saturday Evening

Join us on Easter Saturday 11 April 2020 at 7pm for Folk, Ratlle & Roll with...

3 Daft Monkeys

The Salts

Jonny Phillips

Festival favourites, 3 Daft Monkeys, headline the Saturday of our Folk, Rattle and Roll Easter weekender. With Celtic and eastern influences, the 3 Daft Monkeys dynamic style of world folk-music has seen them booked for all the top summer festivals including Glastonbury.  Mark Radcliffe declared them as one of his festival highlights on BBC TV and subsequently on his Radio2 Folk Show.  They appeared at Wickham, New Forest and Purbeck Valley folk festivals in 2018. For those who haven’t seen them, there are actually four in the group. Daft!

The Salts are a  riotous London based folk outfit  who take sea shanty songs and tunes to places they never previously  thought to go.

Young Bournemouth based singer-songwriter Jonny Phillips, a regular at Purbeck Valley Folk  Festival,  opens the  evening.
