Folk, Rattle & Roll: Easter Weekender - Friday Evening

Join us on Easter Friday 10 April 2020 at 7pm for Folk, Ratlle & Roll with...

The Men They Couldn’t Hang (acoustic)

Nick Parker and Ben Wain

Mantic Muddlers

Legendary folk-rockers, The Men They Couldn’t Hang, open our ‘Folk,  Rattle and Roll” Easter weekender. They were discovered by John Peel in 1984 and have ten studio albums to their name and have been with MCA, Demon, WEA and Silvertone record labels. They have played at the Reading Festival and attracted more than 15,000 for their headline slots at several Heineken Music Festivals. Still led by founders, Phil ‘Swill’ Odgers and Stefan Cush, this acoustic outing is an amazing coup for  Forest Arts  as TMTCH rarely play intimate venues. They won  ‘Best Live Band’ in the 2019 folking.com awards. Their special guests are Nick Parker and Ben Wain, who were with them at the Wickham Festival in 2019 and foot-tappin’  The Mantic Muddlers.
