Folk Orc in the Forest
Celebrating a decade of Folk Orc at Coda Music Trust
An orchestra of folk musicians, singing and playing a range of traditional instruments, arranging, rehearsing and performing traditional music, and writing original new music under the leadership of Chris Hopgood. Folk Orc began at Coda Music Centre in 2009 and has grown to incorporate regular sessions across the region, a workshop programme at folk festivals everywhere, and inspired an array of wonderful new groups and players to perform nationwide.
As part of the day of celebrating 10 years of the Folk Orc, join us for tea and cake with performances by two off-shoots from the Folk Orc sessions, Sukebind and Worlds Gone Wrong.
Places are FREE but please book.
