Felt Bags

Join Sarah Waters and learn the ancient art of felt making and make your own pair of wet felted bag with integral handles, using the 3D seamless method.

You will learn to calculate sizing and shrinkage and how to measure the template. The workshop will also focus on design and colour mixing of fibres as well as embellishments and finishing techniques. Flaps and pockets will also be discussed and can be added.

Suitable for all abilities but please be aware that this workshop requires that extra bit of muscle power and effort!
