New for 2022: Go yoga crazy with Heidi!
Classes to connect, relax and revive.
Whether you want to practice Yoga for fitness, meditation to movement or just an escape from society then this class is for you.
'My yoga class is for all levels from beginners to intermediate. As a beginner my yoga class will give you time to learn your poses and feel the benefit of each posture, enhancing your strength, flexibility and balance. You will also learn the purpose of each yoga flow. As an intermediate my class will give you the chance to take your practice further and deeper into the asana, taking your practice to your own goal. Finishing the class with a guided relaxation into Savasana, which is considered the final resting pose for a total relaxed state for the body and mind.'
What you need: Wear comfy clothes and bring water and a mat.
Tutor: Heidi Cruwys - Principal of Dance Crazy
Heidi Cruwys began dancing at the age of five and by the time she was eleven, was chosen to represent England to compete in Paris.
As a junior dancer, Heidi Cruwys was a regular finalist in the British Open to the World Championships and also represented the British Team, an achievement that her very own dance students continue to make years later.
Heidi Cruwys won the British National Championships at 15, continuing as a youth and amateur dancer to represent England in World and European Championships. Her collaboration with her brother, Simon, brought them the UK Professional Ballroom Championships in 1996. In 2007, she was then was invited by the BBC to comment on the ‘Fab Four’ adjudicators from TV's Strictly Come Dancing.
Her decision to retire from competition dancing in 1997 was by no means the end of her dancing career, as she was by now, alongside her brother Simon, running a successful dance school in Bournemouth. During lockdown Heidi completed her training in yoga and now enjoys teaching alongside her ballroom and latin.
