Learn a few simple embroidery techniques to customise your t-shirts in this fun and relaxed workshop. Choose your own design from pre-made templates and stitch to give your t-shirt a new lease of life! You will have full instructions and support throughout from experienced artist Sarah.
Materials will be provided, but please bring along your own t-shirt if you would like to. Please note that this is a sustainable workshop, so t-shirts provided by the tutor will be pre-loved. Suitable for beginners, improvers or anyone that just wants to give it a go!

Sarah Appleton graduated in 2016 from the Textiles course at the Arts University Bournemouth with a specialism in hand stitch. Since graduating, she has exhibited her work in London, North Wales, Birmingham and across Dorset and also takes on bursaries and private commissions.
Sarah has over 6 years experience of running craft workshops for adults and children in arts centres, libraries and schools across Hampshire and Dorset. Sarah has a passion for all things eco-friendly and thinking up creative ways of reusing materials. Along with sewing and embroidery, Sarah's interests include printing, crochet and photography. Sarah lives in Dorset with her cat, James.
