A class for all levels of experience, exploring the fundamental nature of drawing in a mixture of mediums.

The course will take students through a variety of lessons designed to understand the basic ‘tools’ of constructing a drawing in a variety of monochrome mediums such as charcoal, ink and wax, graphite, chalk and conte sticks.

Tutor: Noel Holmes

Noel has a broad based experience in Art and Design which underpins her teaching practice In a variety of contexts. Noel trained in both Fine Art and textile print design, her career includes commercial print design for a variety of textile companies for interiors. She is currently producing her own range of fabrics, wall papers and light shades. Understanding colour relationships is a very importance element in her work.

In parallel to her practice Noel has worked as a free lance art and design tutor primarily at Arts University Bournemouth where she has taught on the Foundation Course, Textile Degree and running classes for the short courses programme in drawing, life painting, landscape painting and textile print.

Tickets: £120 for 12 sessions or £12 per week
