Draw on location at Redhouse Museum and Gardens in Christchurch. Enjoy a morning of drawing outdoors in the fresh air whilst soaking up the atmosphere in the museum south garden.
We'll meet outside the main entrance where you will be guided straight into the main gallery. If there is wet weather the session will take place in the Archaeology Gallery on the 1st floor where there is no disabled access.
The session is relaxed and open to all abilities.
What you need: Please bring your own materials and a face covering.
We cannot provide materials at this time. You will need:
- Sketch pad
- Sketching pencil (any, HB is fine)
- Rubber and sharpener
Refreshments are available at the Museum.
Tutor: Lisa Christopher
Lisa is a practicing Artist as well as an established Art tutor of 18 years. Teaching from Secondary level to undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her tutoring is rooted in her own passion to share her knowledge and experience with her students through the use of demonstrations, observation and experimentation. She creates a nurturing workshop environment that also challenges you to get the most possible from her classes - allowing you to develop your own personal approach and style and as well as learning alongside your peers. Her high level of support and resources ensures that her courses and processes are tailored to suit individual student ideas and themes. Lisa is incredibly engaging and exciting - she enjoys the adventure of such a varied program of classes in a productive and creative studio environment.
