Dance for Adult with Learning Disabilities (Autumn 21)

This class is deigned to encourage confidence, build skills and coordination and improve overall wellbeing. The class encourages group participation, timing and concentration in a fun, safe environment. The building is inclusive to all and the sessions are developed around the needs of the participants. The participants often have the opportunity to perform at the end of each term.

What you need: Wear comfy clothing and bring plenty of water!

Tutor: Joanne Collinborne

Joanne currently works with a diverse mix of participants and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing. She is interested in inclusive practice and dance for health and wellbeing and has experience working within these areas. Joanne is keen to continually develop her practice, and she has recently completed a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning at The Laban Conservatoire.

Tickets£4.50 per session

Sessions: Friday 17 September - 22 October, 1.30pm - 2.30pm
