Costume Construction!

Need a new costume for Halloween this year? Why not make a new one! With the help of our tutor Emily, using recycled crafting materials and old costumes, you can either jazz up your own costume or make new accessories! We encourage you to bring in old costumes, fabric or broken wands ect and we can help you look your scariest this Halloween.

This session is part of our Sustainable Halloween Theme!

This year Forest Arts Centre and Hampshire Cultural Trust are committed to creating a sustainable Halloween experience. Here is what we are doing:

  • Most materials used in our crafting sessions are recycled and locally sourced.
  • The glitter used is biodegradable.
  • Activities are tailored to sustainability, encouraging re-using costumes and recycling old materials to model or make new.
  • October is Walk to school month, throughout October we are encouraging young people to collect virtual stamps in the building if they have travelled to us by foot, bike or scooter!

#recycle #reuse #reduce
