Join Shelley for this fun Belly Dancing class, suitable for adults of all ages, beginners or improvers! Learn various belly dance steps, arm movements, and a choreographed routine at your own pace in this introductory workshop. 

Belly dancing is a fun, exciting way to keep fit and is suitable for all ages and ability. It uses all the main muscle groups, increases strength and flexibility, and is a great physical and mental tonic. As well as keeping fit, belly dancing can also help improve confidence and fight depression.

About Shelley Lozano
Shelley Lozano is a professional entertainer and has worked in cabaret for over 35 years which has taken her as far afield as Europe, Kathmandu, India and the Middle East. She has taught belly dance on cruise ships, for various fitness clubs and adult education classes for fun and fitness!  She has also worked in TV and Radio, and is also a public speaker and children’s entertainer.

 

What you need: Please wear something non-restrictive, stretchy and comfortable such as leggings, a t-shirt, a leotard or a tracksuit. Best performed barefoot or in non-slip soft shoes. You may want to bring a veil, scarf or sarong to tie around the hips to accentuate the hip movements and bring water.
