Friday complete beginners – for those with no experience of tap dancing, we will learn the basic steps and put them together into a routine.

Wear comfy clothes, tap shoes not necessary for beginners and plenty of water!
Want to know more of what's on offer?
If you would like a more advanced tap class we have Monday morning classes and a Wednesday evening class!
Tutor: Lucy Kelleher
Lucy has been tap dancing for almost 30 years and teaching for 5 years. Lucy teaches both children and adults, her youngest pupil being 4 years old and her oldest over 80 years old! Dancing is a great way to keep fit both physically and mentally and a great way to have fun. Forest Arts tap dancers have appeared at Christchurch Dance Festival, Be Involved New Milton and Bashley Fun Day and taken part the annual national Tapathon which raises money for Children in Need.
Lucy has been involved in dance and drama for many years and has performed, directed and choreographed for local amateur groups including New Forest Players, Milton Musical Society and Christchurch Gilbert & Sullivan Society. She teaches Clubbercise and Disco Fit and has run kids disco parties for several years. Lucy has also appeared on Sky's Got To Dance and performed in the Paralympic Opening Ceremony.
