Have you ever been interested in learning Tap Dance? Or perhaps you would like to brush off those skills you learnt years ago?
This session is for you! For those with zero or little experience of Tap dancing. We will learn and refresh our knowledge of basic Tap steps and then slowly begin to build more complex combinations, whilst we'll work to build a routine over the term.
What to bring: Please wear suitable footwear or tap shoes – tap shoes aren't necessary but smooth soles shoes are recommended as trainers "stick" on the theatre floor.
Tickets: Full term £73 (discounted rate), drop in £6.50
Sessions: Friday 25 April to 18 July 2025 (no class 30 May), 09:45am-10:45am
Tutor: Grace Gulliver
Grace is a freelance dance artist from the South-West, and graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a BA (Hons) Dance degree in 2022. During this time, Grace developed an interest for improvisation, and has recently qualified as a Rambert Grades teacher focusing on contemporary dance technique and creative expression. Prior to this Grace studied ballet, tap and modern dance. Grace has taught an extensive range of age groups as she works for other dance companies and loves to see how dance can inspire others to get moving and to be creative.
