Tutor: Marta Ammendolla

Marta is an Italian Dance Artist, based in the UK. She started dancing from a young age at the Vic Ballet School in Verona, Italy, specialising in Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Movement Improvisation. In 2011 she moved to London, where she graduated with a First-Class degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2014. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with many artists such as Rosemary Butcher, Tony Thatcher and Susan Sentler, which helped her develop as a Performer and Choreographer. During her years of study, she gained a much better understanding of the body, its anatomy and functions and she has refined her technical and creative skills. After that Marta worked in London as part of multiple independent projects, creating her own work as well as performing for artists such as Jo Lawrence and Siobhan Davies. Marta is currently focusing on teaching and working on developing a project, which she hopes to share with the public soon!
