Autumn 19 - Dance for Adults with Learning Difficulties

 

11th Sept (taster week)

18th Sept - 11th Dec (no class 30th Oct)

 

This class is aimed at encouraging confidence, building skills, coordination and overall better wellbeing. The class encourages group participation, timing and concentration in a fun, safe environment. The building is inclusive too all and the class is developed around the needs of the participants. The participants often have the opportunity to perform at the end of each term.

What to wear and what to bring?

Wear comfy clothing and bring plenty of water!

Tutor: Joanne Collinborne

Joanne currently works with a diverse mix of participants and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dancing. She is interested in inclusive practice and dance for health and wellbeing and has experience working within these areas. Joanne is keen to continually develop her practice, and she is currently completing a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning at The Laban Conservatoire.
