Join tutor Emily during August for art in the outdoor air at the New Milton Dementia Allotment site. Suitable for all abilities, this relaxed workshop is a perfect way to spend your Monday mornings this summer.

Location: Dementia Allotment Becton Mead, BH25 7DL

Access: Please note that there are no toilet facilities at the allotment. The allotment is a 13 minute walk from Forest Arts Centre where parking and toilet facilities are available. There is limited parking on site, which is a residential area. Please be aware that this is a shared space with the allotment owners. Please meet at the entrance below and you will be show through.

What you need: Please bring art materials you wish to use, sketch book, sun cream, hat, water and an outdoor chair to sit on. Paper and basic materials will be provided.

Tutor: Emily Glen

Emily is an experienced sculptor and craft maker and has been working in the New Milton area creating and delivering work for several years. Emily has experience working in a local care home programming and delivery art activities and specialises in model making. Emily brings a lot of creativity to her work and allows participants to 'make their mark' and express themselves in a fun and safe way. Emily is an integral part of the Forest Arts Centre programming as she delivers the majority of our holiday clubs, creative camps and summer schools as well as teaching weekly for our Creative Kids Club!
