In this personal and irreverent one-man show Dunstan Bruce, ex-frontman with chart-topping band Chumbawamba, takes the audience on an existential voyage told through poetry, prose, music and projection.
'Am I Invisible Yet?' is no cozy fireside chat reminiscing about his Tubthumping past – it's a vital blast of angst, anger and despair. It is Theatre du Coeur, a love letter to hope, humanity and the haphazard heart.
Feeling increasingly invisible, impotent and apoplectic in today's world, wondering if we're all going to hell in a handcart, Dunstan gives us a piece of performance poetry and physical theatre that rages and ranges across angst and despair, comedy and delight, middle-aged dissolution and disillusion.
Fuelled with a whisky drink, a vodka drink, a cider drink and a lager drink, and with a love for the new generation of artists and activists, maybe, just maybe, if we do the things we're most afraid of, perhaps we can still get back up again...
"Charming, collusion-smashing performer"

"A great way of p*ssing the night away with one of pop's most interesting 1-hit-wonders. A brilliant live debut"
Nick Coquet, The Source
"Angry-funny, in-yer-face endearing; the punky performance poet and the more mellow, reflective self-mocker"
Philippa Hammond, Sussex Playwrights
"Thought-provoking as well as entertaining. Brilliant."
