I'm Leila, a local creative and enthusiast of all things coastal! I have a small business in Dorset making Air Gardens. I am fascinated by air plants, the hundreds of varieties of quirky shapes, the way in which they live and thrive so differently from other plants and how they fit perfectly into a coastal setting.
Air Gardens are beautiful air plants, captured in glass, decorated with coastal treasures, a lot of which I have found from beachcombing the stunning rugged Dorset and Hampshire coastlines. I love arranging the terrariums to become a seascape, reminiscent of the shoreline, rock pools and underwater scenes. I sell my air gardens locally so that people can take home a little piece of the sea with them. I've also ventured into running workshops to allow others to learn about these extraordinary plants and enjoy the therapeutic craft of creating their own air garden.
