Regular classes and events for adults


To ensure a place on any of our weekly workshops, it is essential to enrol and pay in advance of the course start date. Classes will only run if the minimum number required has enrolled in advance of the first session.
No sessions during half term: 26 to 30 May.

Dance

Ballet (16+)
Robyn-Jane Procter
Starts 22 April, ends 1 July
Tuesdays 7.15pm – 8.15pm
£40 (£36 concs) for ten week term
A great way to get fit using traditional ballet exercises and exploring choreographic techniques. Suitable for more experienced dancers as well as beginners and those with little experience of ballet. Come and give it a go!

Jazz Workout (16+)

Wednesdays 7.15pm-8.15pm
£40 (£36 concs) for ten week term
Be inspired to come and dance yourself fit in a social atmosphere with high energy moves and fun routines..

Raqs Sharqi (Belly Dancing) (18+)

Saturdays 7, 14, 21 & 28 June and 5 July 12.30pm – 2.30 pm

An exotic and fun way to get fit. Suitable for beginners and more experienced dancers.

Book Club

Forest Arts’ book club is a really friendly group of people who like reading. The aim is to try books you might not think of trying usually - then have a lively, stimulating discussion about them. Meeting once a month at Forest Arts, we concentrate on the books but also make time for a drink in the bar!

Short Course: Sensational Creative Writing

Five workshops covering each sense and their usage and abusage in creative writing. Just when you thought it was safe to put pen to paper, these five workshops came along to challenge your sensibilities, can you hear that smell? feel that taste? see the thought transferred to page? These workshops will make your creative muscles tingle and there can be only one outcome - sensational writing.

Taster
Not sure if it’s the right course for you? As long as there are places available, you can sign up for just one session to try it out – and we won’t charge if you decide not to continue. This only applies to the first three sessions of classes with 10 sessions.
